For a town that is, effectively, the major industrial center on Gaia, it's should come as hardly a surprise that the stars are remarkably hard to see, even on the Plate itself. Of course, given that the days can be downright smoggy on the best of days this should hardly be a surprise

And he's quite content to follow her, so she won't exactly have to pull particularly hard. Luckily, the semi-cold doesn't seem to bother him - although he'll let his wings out all the same. Maybe it's something to do with the nature of this place?

As for the Unseen Follower trick, he manages to keep it from bothering him, if only for a rather brief period of time. And then he'll be moving closer to the light of the streetlights, looking back over his shoulder periodically as if he's looking for a shadow, or anything else to tell him there's a perfectly logical reason to this phenomenon.

The sudden quietness startles him, and worries him a bit, but he doesn't think to call a cab - no need, right?
