When one likes to hang around in the Nexus and haven't told your coworkers back at home about the Nexus, having a good place to hang out and wait out the LOLs is a very good thing. Especially when the LOL is one like this - he's pretty sure that ShinRa would be not at all amused to find their leading General had inexplicably turned blue and fuzzy ( Read more... )

At least he has people who ... well, will be amused, but will also be understanding?

And a girlfriend who can help get rid of the LOL, though she might want a while to get used to the Pokémonness first.

But she's not on the front porch reading, and Cloud is. He'll notice Sephiroth when said General-turned-Pokémon gets close enough ... and straighten up and blink. He'll also stand and walk to the edge of the porch to meet the "stranger". 'Can I help you?'

"I think I'll need help with the door."

Why yes, that is Sephiroth's voice coming from the not-quite-four-foot-tall blue whatsit.

This is Cloud going wide-eyed and surprised. (Clearly, he doesn't spend enough time in the Nexus.)

Then he tries - heroically - not to react further. Because he can feel a smile trying to form, beyond the shock and the what-the-hell-is-he-this-time? and that'd be bad. Laughing couldn't be far behind. 'Se-Sephiroth?'

Well, if he can figure out what Sephiroth is, he'll at least be a step ahead - all he's been able to figure out is that he's blue, fuzzy, and rather lacking in the opposable thumbs department. But there's a nod all the same. Congratulations Cloud, you are now taller than your General.

There is indeed a Seph under all that blue fuzz, she'll find. A rather LOL'd Seph, but a a Seph nonetheless.

And he seems to be taking to this one remarkable well, short and fuzzy though it is. How very interesting...

"Nothing, this time." He did, however, get near something cute and fuzzy.

Aaaaaaaand not commenting on that 'adorable' remark. He may have gotten usedish to that sort of thing coming from her, but it's still not exactly something he equates with himself.

Slight, and entirely armorless for a change. Not that his armor would fit as he is - his shoulders are rather distinctly differently shaped from the way they would normally be. And besides, his current body has its own natural defenses - and some nasty looking spikes on the backs of its hands (paws) to boot.

But he'll let her rest her hand on his shoulder all the same.

"The eyesight's not quite as good as I'm used to, but the rest is about similar." Then again, he's used to SOLDIER eyesight, which is, well... enhanced.

Though there's something odd about that eyesight though - something he feels he should have figured out. Maybe it'll come to him in a moment?

"It does seem that it would make some thing a little impractical," he admits. Things such as hugs.

But hey, hand-spikes!

Something like that probably. As for that peek around to his back it'll reveal that the only spikes are the chest-spike and the hand-spikes - the only one is back is fur, in both pale-dun and blue. Well, that and the tail.

That... is a remarkably good question. "Wherever they've gone all the other times I've been LOL'd."

Which is to say, he never really stopped to think about it before.
