Until now, all of my cakes have been gifts, favors, and freebies of one kind or another - but Thursday night I got my first real cake job, in the form of a phone call from my mom's friend Pauline, calling on behalf of her boss... I have business cards, but no website yet because the webmaster is busy until January.

Problem is I kind of have to stay under the radar at the moment because of CA requirements that you use a commercial kitchen. If the business takes off enough, I'll be able to afford renting space somewhere. :)
