Steven Seagal Update

As many of you know, I have a strange and comical liking for the cinematic greatness of Steven Seagal. In my last update, he had just come out with a movie in South Korea named Clemetine and he played a minor role as a villain, the first time he has ever played “the bad guy” on screen. I have still yet to see anything more than small previews.

I am not particularly impressed with Steven Seagal, though I give him a 10 on the great asses of all time scale. Glad to see you posting - thought you were dead. ;)

LOL

Actually I looked this up just now. (http://www.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,1321,00.html) IT appears that it was not the Dalai Lama but a Rinpoche who made the decloration:

He was elevated to "tulku" by Penor Rinpoche, the Supreme Head of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism.

Rinpoche declared Seagal a tulku and a "terton" (someone with the abilities to perceive the root teachings of Tibetan Buddhism) in February in a ceremony at the Namdroling Monastery in India. Only 30 others have been tapped as tulkus by Rinpoche.

This is not the reason but adds one more bizarre dimension to the whole comical show.

This is great, I can't wait to see it! Very weird though, I had a huge chat with some social worker today about Steven Seagal's fighting style. Silly synchronicity is the best kind.
