Yeah, my teacher wants our own poems in our portfolio, but she had us also have 4 poems from before the 1900s, 4 after the 1900s and 2 poems from anybody. I found your poem The Swans (which is one of the ones I wish to use) from a community and that led me to your LJ in which I found Faerie's Protest (the other one I wish to use). I fell in love with both of your poems and can't wait to explore your journal. You'll have to excuse me as I do not really have anything of my journal yet that is of real interest. I'm more of a writer of fiction than a poet; I'm just now exploring poetry as I am still in highschool. I hope to keep in touch with you though and I'll try and leave comments in your journal posts as I read through them.
