I know I've been talking a lot about work, but I feel the need to let people know what happens in prisons. It's a misunderstood profession being a Correctional Officer. I am still alive. I've been doing the CJSTC and FDLE Correctional Officer Academy. This week and for the next 18 days is Defensive Tactics. This course is pretty self explanatory, but we were doing some forward shoulder rolls yesterday when I decided it might be a fun challenge to stack the punching bags and try to jump and roll over them.

I am a Correctional Officer. I work a high stress job in a maximum security prison that the state of Florida that pays $30,000-ish per year to certified officers.
