Awwww, that was awesome. Well *done*. I really love the amount of detail you put into it; none of it felt rushed, it really felt like they'd been apart for so long and sort of still knew each other but sort of didn't and I'm rambling but anyway I loved it because it was sad and sweet and hurty and I will stfu now. ::g::

LOL! No stfu! You're saying lovely things! Thanks so much for reading. I didn't think I could write something like this in 2k words so it ended up being loooong. Glad it worked!

I really love this! Ended up reading all the chapters in one go! Awesome characterizations and the setting of the story was just fantastic. Chekov/Sulu is definitely my favourite pairing now. :D

Wow that was intense!!! I thought you did a great job of juggling the two different timelines. The bits with Sulu stranded on the desert planet were very intense, and the scene where Chekov ends up running away from Sulu in sickbay, that really stuck out in my mind!! The arguments between the two of them were also very powerful, and I was impressed with the reconciliation in the hotel room. Chekov was so broken here! And Sulu was so hurt and lonely! Wonderful job!

So happy you liked it! I was nervous about switching between the timelines but I really wanted the characterization to be strong. I think I really put them through the ringer here LOL, but that's how I like them. :) Thanks for pulling this together. I loved doing it!

I don't usually read this pairing, but the prompt was amazing. I loved the characterization. Grown up Pavel is absolutely my favorite way to see him, and grown up guilt-ridden Pavel almost sent me into paroxysms of flail. Extremely well done. Now if you'll pardon me, I'll just be off to stalk read everything else you've ever written. :D

Ha! Well thanks for giving it a chance! The prompt really was amazing and it gave me so much to work with. I hope you find something else of mine you dig. There isn't a crazy lot there but maybe I should change that. :)
