have had scalp problems long before hair loss...tightness...burning....redness....only after did the hair shed. It's on the crown of my head....what should I do? Isn't in my family...It's probably a result of prolonged stress over many years...which is reduced now...but damage has been done

Hide it with a wig?
a hair system
Transplant
Fiansteride?

Started Minoxidil about six weeks ago...and the minimum required is 3 months before any result...

Don't want to go down the extension route as they don't last.

I was gonna suggest extensions but they are expensive, painful, don't always get done right and as you say, they don't last.

If I was you, I'd get a skinhead, get rid of it all and buy a smart wig. Wigs are so good nowadays, you cannot tell that you are wearing one.
