Get up, come on get down with the sickness.

Yep, I'm sick.  My sinuses are so swollen they feel as if they're about to explode.  My head simultaneously feels like someone is driving a nail into my temple and like it's floating (which is, btw, a really weird feeling).

On the plus side, I don't have much homework to do today.  I've just got to write a few more pages of my Capstone (so far, 3 ( Read more... )

Oh no :( Shall I get Dr. Lancaster to make a house call? ;p Of course, once he finds out that he'll be tending to a young attractive female he won't leave. Good for you ;p

Glad you're enjoying being 21!

Yes! I need Dr. Lancaster's experience in... medicine to help me get better. I'm perfectly okay with him sticking around for a while. ;p

Urk! Sorry to hear that you're sick. It's brave of you to 'soldier on,' as the Sister said to Mickey H. If Dr. Lancaster is late for his house call, try Breathe Right strips. I swear by them when I'm sick. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks, Elizabeth!

I've never used the Breathe Right strips before; I tend to use the nose spray instead, even though I shouldn't because I always end up hooked on it for at least a month. :| I think I'm on the mend, though. My whole floor is coming down with it now, and I think it's my fault, lol.

I'm so sorry Erika! Sinus pain is horrible. It feels like a little dwarf was sitting on your chest, pummeling the crap out of your face and forehead all night long. At least that's what my sinus pain feels like. And then, you swore someone filled your sinus cavities with concrete over night. Ugh. I hope you recover quickly.

Get better soon! Take lots of ibuprofen and a good multivitamin. Use Afrin if you must (but only for a few days or you'll get a nasty rebound effect). And watch your favorite Ian flicks to lift your spirits and kick that sinus cold (or at least get your mind off the pain; it’s always worked for me, lol). Take care! *Hugs*

Thanks Jess!

Ibuprofen and Afrin (or Walmart's Equate knockoff brand) are my best friends right now. I wish I could watch an Ian movie, but a) they're all at home (I'm the worst Ian fan ever, lol) and b) where would I find the time? LOL! I think I'm getting a little bit better now, but hopefully I'll be better soon.

*Hugs back*

Sounds like the dreaded Fresher's Flu to me. The only good point is that after that you'll probably be immune to everything else. I hope that you're feeling better very soon.

Just look at him there, he looks like a naughty schoolboy.

Thanks, Flu!

He does, doesn't he? He's just so hot no matter what he does.

I love your av, btw. Looks like Dr. Lancaster has come after all, lol!

I copied it from a South Park character creator application on Facebook. :) Isn't it just adorable? LOL!
