General GRE, take 2

My retake of the General GRE has put me in a better mood than I've been in for months, maybe even a year. I improved my verbal score by 40 points (raising it from a 600, which was my goal). My math score dropped considerably (from 600 to 520), but I don't think it will matter in the eyes of my prospective graduate schools since they'll see both

Fear not! By complete happenstance, my friend is throwing her birthday party tonight, and I intend to get so drunk that walking becomes a problem. Now I just have to get some homework done so I don't have to worry about doing it with a hangover... lol.

He can "congratulate" you after he "congratulates" me. ;p

Yay for getting ridiculously drunk!! Lol, I had one brandy and coke last night and I still feel tired. I'm not a drinker after all :( I need Ian to make me feel better about it :D

Congrats! That is a really good score - and what will grad-school English departments care about math, anyway? Just don't get so drunk that you fall asleep during Ian's visit!

Nah, and thanks to DST, I gained an extra hour of party time lol. And an extra hour of recovery time this morning... ;p

Thanks! Of course, celebrating with just the picture would be nice (I just got a visual image of all of us at a party with a big poster of shirtless Ian in bed hanging on the wall), but I'd much rather that poster come to life, lol. ;p
