NIN must be listened to at LOUD, ear bleeding levels!

Honestly, I enjoy wearing suits to work, maybe that's cos I figure, if you've got to wear them, make them funky and mess with the paradigm a bit. I wear more corporate goth stuff at work than out of it.

If I could afford the clothes I want and could get them in Canberra then I would wear interesting stuff that could be mistaken for corporate in a bad light. And I always admired Mikey's corporate wear.
But I can't so it is nice to not have to wear a tie.

Then again I almost always wear a shirt when I'm out of the house, have been able to make people mistake me wearing a jacket and black cargos for a suit and have been told that what a wear normally is suitable for a 'dressed up' event.

More information than you needed :) arienmir July 23 2008, 03:12:43 UTC
I too tend to do the corporate goth look at work. I work in 'the corporate division/branch' of our department. I find corporate goth an excellent excuse to shop at Anton's.

In fact there is not a single thing I am wearing today that is not black...

Black boots - check
Black anton's slacks - check
Black anton's jacket - check
Black shirt - check
Black socks - almost check they have skull and corss bones on them
Black and lacy underwear - check ;)
Black eyeliner - check
Looking tragically pale due to all the black - check

Though I must admit my current work play list on my iPod consits of much Prodigy. I have good earphones though thanks to Chris, so no one but me gets to listen to it!

Heh, Monday was an all Anton's day for me, yesterday was all Gallery Serpentine and today, well, it's just a black suit I bought in the US and a dark coloured shirt. :)

It's always nice to have an excuse (although you never really need one) to shop at Anton's and Gallery Serpentine.
