Promenade

Two of my poems are part of 3Lights Gallery's new exhibit, "Promenade," a collection of haiku, senyu and tanka about the seashore. You know how I love that subject!

Also! I'm thinking about getting a tattoo of a ghost orchid. Have you ever considered writing a haiku about this species of orchid that is native to Florida? Selfishly I think you should, so I can have it added to the tattoo :).

That's a great idea; I'll get right on it. :)

Amy you are great! Erin, you are great for wanting a tattoo of the ghost orchid. They are really neat looking.

Haiku poems are new to me and I had so much fun reading them on the site you posted. I particularly liked the one you wrote about filling the footprints with next season's necklaces.:)

Thanks, Caren. I think that site is pretty cool, the way they present the little poems almost like you're walking through a gallery. They do a different theme each month.
