Author's Notes: Not quite Beckett time, but we're getting there. And I totally cheated since each drabble is slightly over 100 words.

There are NO spoilers for Season 4 in these drabbles. It's just my imagination at work.

These were fabulous. I read all 5 today. I want to ask you a question about the season 3 finale. So I've watched it 8 times already (would have watched more times if I didn't have boring things like work to do - oh and I am also watching all 3 seasons again from the start) - Anyway, when he tells her that he loves her, a tear falls from her eye right? And then, when she closes her eyes, does a tear fall down his cheek as well? As much as I try to do a close up of watching this beautiful moment, I can't quite see this clearly.
Anyway, thanks for your little chapters which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Yup. A tear leaks out of both Beckett's eyes, and then when she passes out, a tear snakes out of Castle's right eye, as well. It happens quickly, but you can see it slip down his nose and hang on the tip before the scene fades to black. It is beautiful, you're right.

I know someone else has already answered your question, but in all my viewings, I've never noticed a tear on Castle's face, although I have seen it mentioned elsewhere. Any excuse to watch it again, though. :)

These are lovely. Though they're two very different reactions, I like that the elation and the hesitation/fear are really both about hope (well, that's my take on them, anyway).

No, you're interpretation is right. That's what I was hoping would come across. As happy as he is, and hopeful, there's still a little bit of fear there, along with a shade of guilt that I think he's probably feeling about the whole situation.

Thanks! Beckett's reactions are being harder to write than I thought, but I think I have an idea, so hopefully it'll be up within the next few days.
