I just posted the first post to my new icon community, irisicons . I have finally learned how to use Photoshop properly (that took some time... ;) and I love making icons!

p.s. Anyone else who had a lot of trouble to put on contacts the first time? How can I make my eyes to not blink...?

My second youngest secong cousin turned 13 today. It feels so weird, like she was born just a little time ago. Just yesterday she was a giggling little girl who said the funniest things and never failed to make everyone laugh. Now she a teenager. Time is a funny thing.

So, what a surprise that I have stopped writing here once again... I just don't seem to have anything to say. Or actually I would have things to say, I guess I just don't know how to say them. I often think about how much I want to go to Spain again. I'm not the only one. Every time I'm around when my parents are looking at the weather forecast I hear my mom saying, "Let's go to Spain". Because it's so much more warm there. But I know it's not just about that.

I grew up in a neighbourhood that could be more described as countryside than town, though it wasn't exactly countryside. I have lived in the town now for two years. For me it's a little surprising that nowdays I feel like I always lived in the town. I'm supposed to be here. I love the cityscape, especially the view over the roofs. My parents just moved. I was helping them clean their old house and going through the huge amount of stuff that has gathered over the years. It was like going through our life as a family.
