We would totally LOVE to host the party at Merv-house. It would be nice and big and spacious and we could be noisy. However, we are not 100% sure now that we'll be able to come home.... I'm interviewing for a new job Saturday, so I'll know very soon whether we can come... I will keep you updated.

Of COURSE a mix tape exchange. I like the cassette tape as much as the next guy but... are cds okay? (don't hit me.)

and yes...cds are perfectly fine.
mix cds and mix tapes serve the same function so no one has
a right to get upset about it.
i, however, do enjoy MAKING mix tapes way more.
you should do anything.

I've been informed that Cathy and Corey would love to host the festivities. So, if the Mervnet situation does not work out, there will be a suitable venue. I will make a mix tape and dub 2 copies, just in case. I'm hoping for lots of snow.

I should revise my previous entry. Corey and Cathy want to have the party at Cathy's Dad's house. I think that would be a fine location.

I'll try to post a post about this to make sure everyone gets the info, but we will NOT be able to make it back to Michigan, so Cathy's dad's house seems like the winner. We WILL, however, send some mix cds. (The good news in all of this is that Lisa got the position as Head Cook at the Hendersonville Food Co-op: a real job, benefits, paid vacation, etc...)
