Thanks for the link to the playlist! I’ve been thinking that I should find one, but haven’t gotten around to it.

Yesterday I was talking to a friend about the ESC and we both had a clear favourite so we decided that we should guess each others. I started with taking two seconds to think and then guessing the correct country. When she guessed on my favourite it took her about 20 minutes and a whole lot of clues. :-D (And it was the same song!) Should I tell you what song it is? I’m not sure I’ll have the time to do a proper write-up for it. Maybe. :-)

Oh, I've been meaning to ask, how was Jesus Christ Superstar? I listen to that cd so very much, and I love Patrik Martinson's Judas like crazy!

Alrighty! This is the vote from the Gothenburg jury. Twelve points go to… Serbia! I didn’t like Lane Moje at ALL, but this one I really like. I think that was what made it so difficult for my friend to guess. :-)

Serbia is really wonderful! I like Lane Moje, but I don't quite understand why everyone thinks it's so great. I like this one better.

Completely with you on Iceland. The wife could sing along on the first listen and that's a good sign. I love it.
As for Greece, I'm with you on that as well. I just want to cover her up and tell her to act her age. Stupid silly girl. Same with Romania for me, I couldn't handle it. Too much softporn, too young a girl.

Albania... nope... too arty for me.

And Belgium. Well, apparently, unfortunately, we would. Listen, we're facing budget cuts, you'd have to be mad to want to host this thing next year! Silly Swedes... :-)

Iceland is so great! Romania's video was really porny, but the live performance was a completely different thing, so I have hopes for that one.

See, I think Sweden has realised that next year would be an ideal year to host. This year there's the Olympics and the football, and 2014 there's the winter olympics (which is huge in Sweden, even if it isn't anywhere else) and the football world cup, but next year, there are no huge tv arrangments that demand lots of money. Sweden is very cunning like that. :)

Finland's entry is so lovely live. <3 I don't like the studio version though, it's so... stiff.
