This past weekend, I attended a Model United Nations meeting in Yamagata City. It was a two-day affair and representatives from countries of Brazil, Thailand, Korea, China, and Romania also attended. The other day, I had a dream. In the dream I was doing a lot of interpreting and translating. The cool thing was that it was that three languages were involved; English, Tagalog, and Japanese. I can't wait until I have the dream where a fourth language will be included too. (^_-)*

It has been over a year since I've been here.

This past weekend was a lot of fun. I went 福島県 Fukushima-ken for a 花火大会 Hanabi Taikai, Fireworks Competition, with homies つとむ Tsutomu and 真介 Shinsuke. Fellow ALT homegirl Ceed came along, too. It's summer vacation now in Japan, but I'm still quite busy with work and other things. Today, I just got my Japanese driver's license. I would of been in trouble if I didn't get it soon since my California driver's license is expiring SUNDAY!!! I have four ID cards that I carry around now. It has been a month since I've last talked about what's been going on here in Japan. And in that one month, I have done so much that I've literally exhausted myself out. I better wish myself ガンバレ！ Ganbare!, or "Do your best!", because the next 30 days will be just as busy if not more so.
