Little Shop of Horrors
incyr and I went to see Little Shop of Horrors at the Ford theatre last night. Neither of us had ever seen the play version, but we both really loved the movie and there was no reason not to go since tickets were $10 (well, more like $20. Damn you, TicketMaster and your excessive fees).

Happy Earth Day everyone! Earth Day was established on April 22, 1970, making today its 40th anniversary. So what are you doing to celebrate? If I'm not working on homework tonight, I may go to a screening downtown of No Impact Man. -
Contemplating Candies
I'm not sure why this popped into my head again, maybe it's the key lime yogurt I'm eating this morning, but I've always wondered why candy companies seem to be replacing their lime flavored candies with sour apple flavor. Has anyone else noticed this? You almost never get a lime flavored lollypop anymore. Why is that? Is lime more expensive to ( Read more... ) -

Spiderman do-over
I'm sure everyone here has already heard the news that Spiderman 4 is being scrapped and instead Sony is looking at rebooting the franchise. Yes, the 3rd film was terrible, but I think it's ridiculous that there's going to be a reboot of a franchise that started in 2002. 2002! Day 2-Yosemite Trip
We woke up early this morning in that limbo between East and West Coast time. The clock said 5:30, but our bodies screamed that it was 2:30 and back home it was already 8:30. We took off this morning for San Francisco with our ultimate destination of Yosemite National Park. Rarely if I get up this early (5:00am) do I see much of dawn, but this morning's dawn was the most beautiful I've ever seen: pink and gold ( Read more... )
