Oh, how this song takes me back. The funny thing is that the webcomic that brought it back to the surface of my memories reminds of me one phase of life, the song reminds me of another, and the mix of the two just disconcerting, all things considered. This could be bad.

Last night, Cameron and I went to a block party hosted by a friend of his and his neighbors. They closed down the block and had tons of food, drink, and fireworks. We both had a great time. Exactly a year ago, I was siting in the Philly airport waiting to board my 3:30 flight to Chicago. Now I'm sitting at home and I just had some mint chocolate chip ice cream and memories came flooding back. ( I know that doesn't make sense, but I'll explain. )

Today I had training in Jersey again for the job. Mapquest told me it should take me 1 hour, 3 minutes but it's a good thing I somehow ended up in my car at 8:20am rather than 8:30 since I rolled in right on time at 10 on the dot.
