This semester was the happiest blur I've ever experienced. Just. Wow. Substance will come after finals are over, but for now, I have to say :o)

Sometimes, I just have to keep smacking my head into the same wall before I realize it's hard. Why the hell am I always surprised to find that nothing has changed?

I have way too much keeping me busy these days, but I love it. I actually got my first real legal job this past week and I start on Monday. I'll be clerking in a small estate planning and real estate firm by school, and that makes me really happy since that's exactly what I'm looking to go into. So I'm doing reading for class, and I came across a word I read as "esoterotica". Granted, the word was "esoterica", as in "things that are esoteric" and that's not a general word, but I think I've found my new favorite word. Smart is the new sexy.

I've never really sat through a whole professional hockey game and paid attention. In high school when I dated someone on the school team, I watched them play...sure. For all intents and purposes, I am done with my first year of law school. I feel so relieved. And now, it's to work to throw a surprise party for my boss, and then out to celebrate hard work well done!

I only have one more exam! I'm feeling unrealistically overconfident about it which means I'm clearly burnt out and that it's time to paint my toenails. Obviously.

Why the strange look?

No, that pile of empty cans and bottles of diet dew's not ALL from today. Just the 2 liter. And the M&Ms. And the lollipops.

Junk food > sanity.

Sitting here and listening to the rain makes me think way too much. If I didn't have over 200 pages of notes to outline this week, I'd say more on that train of thought. This is just a placeholder for that which is to come.
