this isn't a poem.

i really did not need today.
but i got it.
and i'm going to wake up in the morning.

waking up isn't as bad as i used to make it.
trying to fall to sleep, however,
is a difficult departure,
from my light into the dark,
and i, naturally enough, do not
prefer a cold envelope on
my right or left side.

i have to be read to sleep.

i have a little pillow that has a speaker in the center of it that plays music at headphone volume, so you have to rest your head on it to listen. it's really nice, i fall asleep to elysian fields a lot, or moby.
