I just want to share something, my dear friends.

It has always been my heart's desire to love without stinting.  I want to be known for an acceptance that reaches past wounds and scars and reaches into lives to give love.  There are times that, without doubt, I fail miserably at that goal.

It, nevertheless, remains my desire.

I've said this before, but some days are easier than others.

I hid it well, but yesterday was a really difficult day.

It was my wife's birthday, yesterday, and it felt wrong not being with her on it.

I had been driving this little old Ford Ranger for a good while.  Taking my boys to school in it was always interesting, but we functioned.  About a month and half ago, someone literally rammed the Ranger all the way up into our yard from where it was parked by the curb for the night, totalling it ( Read more... )
