If we're taking WWII as a starting point, both of the worlds, or universes - whichever you prefer - I've called home had that. So politically I'd imagine we have similarities.

As for differences, both of my worlds developed evolutionary off-shoots of humanity. They call us mutants. We have powers. It freaks people out to varying degrees.
