 Happy Diwali!!
I realized something was up when the customer service rep from Comcast wished me "Peace, Light, and everlasting internal happiness"... And then I went to check my mail and noticed all my Hindu neighbors have strewn dried flowers everywhere in the hallway and painted their doors bright colors and hung colored lights on their Patios

Being a father, I can easily imagine the great comfort he experienced from your presence there, during this difficult time.
Are you still in touch with your English sister? How is she taking the news?

Thank you, Jurek :) I really hope so too... I'm really glad I went in the end. Now I'm looking over his old letters and pictures - and I feel better
