For the first time in a long time, I had a dream about my father. I didn't dream about him in person, but I dreamt that I was finding letters he left behind. I'm alive!!
It's been a month since I started at Peets - and the managment training has been taking a surprisingly long time! It's amazing how the corporate organization is prevalent at that company! I was expecting Peet's to be more relaxed, but the mothership of Peet's is very organized and efficient. I love the people there - it's the first cafe I have ( Read more... ) -

I'm still unemployed, but my unemployment ran out... it had to one day right? Except now I have become cheaper and I'm looking and interviewing for jobs that I had 4 years ago... paddling back, yes but what I saw today was kind of heart wrenching and I just had to share:
