Charlotte had been so excited and it was finally Wednesday, and her excitement had gotten even higher and was reaching its pinnacle as she found her way to Irulan's place. She had a design book under one arm and her laptop in its case in her other hand as she appraised the outside and doing that just made her even more excited because it was just gorgeous and the inside had to be as nice and...

Eeeeee! It probably didn't help that she'd been loading up on coffee while putting together some last minute ideas last night and this morning. The last thing the world needed was Charlotte picking up Dale's coffee habits, but there she was, a bright little bundle of caffeine and sunshine wrapped in a nice Chanel and knocking at the door.

One of the servants opened the door but Irulan was also there to greet her visitor. She smiled upon seeing who it was on her doorstep.

"Good morning, Charlotte."

"Oh, good morning, Irulan!" Charlotte met the other woman's smile brightly. "How are you? Your place is beautiful!"

"Thank you," Irulan replied and gestured for her to enter, "I do apologize for the mess, we have just begun moving."

Ghanima stood in the doorway, surveying the scene before her.

"Haberdashery, Irulan?" she asked, arms folded. "If only I could claim to be surprised."

Irulan turned surprised at the voice. It was indeed her stepdaughter but closer to the one she knew.

"Ghanima," she said and moved forward. Irulan's smile was wry. "I suppose it would be the logical conclusion towards my love of head pieces."

"A great number of things are logical, stepmother," Ghanima laughed as she moved to embrace the other woman. "Your adoration of hats is not one of them."

Irulan returned the embrace. "I admit, my love for them is a bit illogical." Story of her life, really. "Its good to see you, Ghani. Although I didn't think I'd see you so soon."
