....!

I'd primarily like to thank you all for not converting to MySpace-ism, at least not completely. I despise all those 11-year-olds on there who wear all that hideous makeup, try to look cute with those brightly-coloured pixie haircuts, pretend to like Blondie, and list "Led Zepplin" as one of there favourite bands ( Read more... )

Hello. Call me slow but I only noticed now that you added me to your Friends List. I'm adding you back as well. You seem like such a cool person (The Marianne Faithful icon got me :D ).

And yes! The Zeppelin DVD is my Holy Grail :).

Actually, I think I just added you about a week ago, so don't feel too slow.
And thanks. Marianne Faithfull is lovely, isn't she?
I think it was your username alone that got me. Hah.

I would say "scene kids," but apparently that's offensive to them

Poseurs? Ditzes who only know about Blondie and Zeppelin because of the T-shirts on sale at hot Topic? They pro'lly buy their hair dye at Hot Topic too.

Phooey to them.

And, man, am I glad Jeff Beck hasn't made it into Hot Topic yet. One and only time I'm glad the man seems to be allergic to self-promotion. xD

'And, man, am I glad Jeff Beck hasn't made it into Hot Topic yet.'

Ah. I was thinking that. I don't even want to imagine those chicks going 'round saying they like Jeff Beck. I know for a fact none of them have the ability to appreciate his music. I swear, if I see one of those chicks with a Jeff Beck shirt (y'know, if those shirts exist), I'll start bombarding them with questions like there's no tomorrow.

'Phooey'--couldn't have put it better myself. :D

I'll join you in bombarding the poseur Beck fans. I doubt we'll get far, though. I think most'll fold at "Sing me one Jeff Beck song." Or, better yet, we can trip 'em with "Sing me the lyrics to any one song off Blow by Blow."

[wicked grin]

Man. I adore that entry. Thank you.

I bought How The West Was Won at Best Buy for $18.99, which really is a good buy, considering it was $30 at Borders. You'll absolutely love it, I'm sure of that. It will eliminate any boredom you might ever have [you seem like such an interesting person that I'm not even sure you ever get bored, but still].

Ha!

We watched some of Gimme Shelter in math last year. [My math teacher was a conspiracy theorist.] But yeah.. Best Buy does the whole price-match thing so, y'know.

Actually, I have a myspace. But I'm kinda getting sick of it. I dunno. I go on it occasionally to check a few things.

Yeah, I'm not talking about everyone who owns I myspace, I'm talking about the typical scene kids that are the majority of the myspace population.
