IS Suggestion/Availability List

Before getting to the suggestion/availability list, I feel there needs to be more emphasis put on research for newcomers. This game isn't here for someone to come in and write a journal as him or herself, but calling him or herself by a wrestler's name. You need to invent a personality separate (although similar is fine, naturally) from yourself. The whole basis of role-playing is within the name: to play a role. To portray someone unlike yourself. Incoporating some of yourself into the character is more than ok. It can make you more comfortable and can help make the character your own. But you should still make a point to research your chosen character as thoroughly as possible. The best players dig the deepest for information. Find and devour the content of every fansite you possibly can. The biographies, the articles, and perhaps most importantly the interviews with your chosen character. You want to have a feel for that wrestler (or diva or other personality). You have to know all that there is to be known about their history. Don't just concentrate on what they're doing in the here and now. If your character is from OVW, but is now in the WWE, be sure you know his or her OVW history. That is important.
Now, granted some characters have very little to be found about them and you may still want to play this character. Fine. Know what there is to know, and build from there. Be creative. This game is a creative outlet, but it's not all a blank slate.
Above all else, put forth your best effort and have fun. It's a game afterall.

The world of wrestling isn’t limited to wrestlers and divas. There are also refs, agents, commentators, ring announcers as well as other backstage workers that could be considered for a journal. Be careful in selecting one of these, however. You want to choose someone who has information available on them.
