My son's first birthday just passed. I can't believe he's already a year old. It seems like just yesterday that I had found out Marissa was pregnant with him. The years are really rolling by. I hope to catch enough time for a real, substantial, reflective post soon.

Next week, I'll be half way to 40. That's a scary thought.

I swear I updated this recently. Maybe I dreamed that. Which would be a little pathetic, I guess. I'm going to say it was one of those cases wherein I was plotting it all out in my head, completely neglected to see it through, yet thought I had considering how much I was thinking about doing it. It's disturbing when people take candid pictures from a distance of myself, my father and my son. Not surprising, but disturbing.

It's a busy life when you have a seven month old baby and a husband who is getting into bar fights. I think he needs to stick to taking his aggression out at the gym. Time really flies. I think there has to be some way that I can blame my absence entirely on Sean. Although, I guess it'd be more sensible to blame it on the baby. But that's a consistent excuse. It's going to get boring and overused after awhile, so I have to think of something else. So Sean it is!
