The power still isn't coming on, or the phones. I can't get in touch with anyone back home, and it's been more than a day. Does anyone know what the status is? *getting good and worried now*

Also, uh... I've been thinking about it and I'm not going to be leaving the chateau for a while. Just for a little bit. Just seems safer...

So I've pretty much done nothing this past week except chill in my room and think. Which is good. It's somethin' I don't do enough.

*has been wandering around the streets of what seems to him to be the biggest city imaginable, staring open-mouthed at the strange buildings and the strange trees and the strange people; rather out of place in his Ishbalan clothes and wondering just how he's gotten here, blinking rather large red eyes*

*hasn't been having a terribly good week, holes up in his room and vents it out on his guitar, trying not to play too loudly and disturb the household and partially succeeding; doesn't stop playing for more than a minute at a time, even when a few of his fingernails start to bleed a little, pausing only to put bandaids on them*
