Oh that was wonderful, utterly delightful. A beautiful Yule story and absolutely perfect for me to read today.

You see, today would have been my mother's birthday. She died two years ago, but reading a story which is about the love of two mothers for their children, as well as the relationship between Tinnia and Legolas seems so very fitting.

Thank you so much for your reply. As a first time participant, I was quite nervous about my contribution, and your quick reply calmed me a little.

My father passes away in December 2013, so I can relate to your feelings. I'm very glad I could "give" you something on this special day.

There, there. It#s not so bad. At least Legolas made it through the story unharmed. Does that count for nothing? ;)

So glad my little contribution to the calendar touched you. I had great fears would hate it for the lack of romantic content (but I don't think I have that in me), and I'm very, very relieved to hear readers didn't feel like running away from it. Thanks so much for telling me!
