For this volume... get ready for a lot of "mental table-flipping" (as scorch66 commented) XD Welcome to Kamenashi's super complicate world
( Read more... )
I've had this tab open for hours but for some reason I couldn't start reading it until much later lol XD Kame camera feels like such a huge force that is Kamenashi and his deep thoughts and reflections that hits you every month that I need time to sit and calm down and read and understand. At least to me it feels like that XD
Before anything else this "In my case, I expose everything of myself and face the people I like without lying." and this "I think there's also the fact of absolutely not entrusting all of yourself to the other party." Uhh Kamenashi I'm confused? @_@
He's really happy with things happening spontaneously. Meeting new people also if I recall correctly also with travelling to another place/country.
"Once there's a girl I'm interested in, in the case that the “I want to meet now!” feeling matches, I continue. On the contrary, if I'm said “Now it's impossible” I end up stepping back." This man is never going to get a girlfriend!! *slapped* *kicked* *bricked*
"“This is how I am, what do you think?” Second, it's

I reread those two sections and this is how I have understood what Kame was saying.
In my case, I expose everything of myself and face the people I like without lying.
I feel like he is saying that with the person he is with he would be like, “Here I am. This is me. Take it or leave it.”
...I think there's also the fact of absolutely not entrusting all of yourself to the other party . The second quote is a little harder to explain, but if you look at what he says right before it makes slightly understandable.
In order to secure the person drawn closer, there is the fact of being influenced by that person and to assimilate. I see Kame stating that if he is in a relationship he is going to be cautious in how he exposes himself to his partner in order to avoid that person losing parts of herself. He will let her know that there are x,y and z parts of him but not in a way where it would influence her personality especially to the point where she would feel “complete.” The moment one is complete the passion would fizzle. I think Kame

he is going to be cautious in how he exposes himself to his partner in order to avoid that person losing parts of herself This, absolutely ^^ At least this is how I read that part too. Which is actually quite a nice thing to do. There are too many people who want the partner to change and become like himself/herself, and that's not right. Saying like that, Kame's actually being very very mature. Which leads to what you said, I think Kame wants a relationship where it is two people living, loving, working, changing and growing, which is the best relationship ever. Thus... very difficult to achieve, sadly. But that's the ideal I aspire too, so I see what Kame is saying ^^
Thank you for this nice comment! I feel like the message was conveyed through the translation ^o^
At first reading, he does sound like he's saying the opposite things in two different paragraphs XD; (and yes, he's a bit selfish. But at least he realizes it xD)
I think it's like this: he doesn't lie to the people he trusts/the partner. And he does admit that for a relationship to go smoothly there's a certain amount of "becoming similar" (=assimilate in that meaning, taking sides of the other party and the other party takes sides of you). But for both your and the other party's sake, it's necessary to keep individual unchanged sides of yourself (he says "retain that person's personality" too, not only his own). So I guess he's applying what he thinks it's good for himself to the other party too. Which is quite nice imo. Also I agree with him: if you start being the splitted image of your boyfriend/girlfriend... it's actually boring, to be honest xD I don't know if I explained myself correctly @_@ this is only my opinion though xD
by doing this he'd know just how much of himself is accepted by a person he liked imo.Yes you made

The more I read over this the more I wonder if part of Kame's behaviors has developed not solely out of his affinity for spontaneity but also because he is a Johnny.
How many girls does he meet that just want to be with him because he is an idol and have fallen in love with the idea of Kamenashi Kazuya? If he pushes and pushes, the ones that are not really in it for him will give up and move on to the next celebrity.

You are right Kame is really complicated. I need a moment to gather my thoughts on Mr. Mean-but-not-tsundere.
