Yesterday I drove to Asheville for my first, and hopefully not last, same-sex marriage celebration.  J and S had a really gorgeous ceremony in which they pledged their commitment to each other and declared their love.  There were tears and laughter, and J never stopped smiling.  My favorite part of the ceremony was when the minister came to the end ( Read more... )

A super-conservative friend asked me last night for my thoughts on the most recent ruling from the Supreme Court, Gonzalez v.
