Former President Clinton came to the base today. Fortunatly, I didn't see him, or anything related to him, so I can pretend that he never came.

And is anyone concerned that the new Pope served in WWII helping the Nazis shoot down Allied aircraft and that the United States captured and held him as a POW?

That shouldn't be a cause for any concern. He was involuntarily enlisted in the Hitler Youth at the age of 14, as was every other male of that age in Germany at the time. He was then later involuntarily conscripted into a German military unit from which he deserted. Desertion was an offense punishable by death but he still preferred to take his chances rather than serve the Third Reich. After his desertion the Allies picked him up and it's a good thing for him that they did because if the SS had found him first he would have been killed. It's not fair at all to portray him as a Nazi or even a Nazi sympathizer.

considering the church's dodgy take on WWII, it's not all that surprising when you think about it. They turned a blind eye to the holocaust for lord knows how long.

Why of all people Clinton visit a military base? I don't think Clinton deserves to be in a military base of any kind.

I read the new pope is going to put pressure on American Catholics "cafeteria Catholics". I think it's about time someone did something about the Catholic church here. The Catholics I've known haven't been as dedicated as Jonathon in their belief.

Even if Clinton is merely a former commander in chief I dare say that shooting him with a paintball gun would get you fired from a job in the USAF and limit one's future employment opportunities in the private sector. All for an unoriginal joke that would be funny for about three seconds.

It wouldn't be for laughs, it would have been therapeutic, and I'm not looking for a career in the USAF anytime soon. I do believe anyone against the skank would be still laughing long after, with the mental image of his gawky ass jumping all over the place.

My previous comment wasn't made to be taken seriously. Please remove the corn cob from your ass before if causes serious rectal damage. (oh and that was not meant to be an 'unoriginal' jab at homosexuallity... it was very literal indeed.)
