I think Shing was planning to go, though there was some whining recently about not having a date since her boy would be out of town or some such. Not sure I've got the energy to pull off some heavy duty costume event.

I would totally go, were it not for the price tag.

The "dress code" as I understand it is "formal attire with a mask, or fantasy garb" - no indication is made as whether a mask is required if fantasy garb is worn.

Considering some of the body paint as costume & masks I've seen, I wouldn't be surprised.
