Hi there! I found you through a search of Rosencrantz/Guildenstern, and while scanning your userinfo, I saw you go to UPS. I'm going to be a Freshmen there this year, and let me tell you, I'm relieved to know there's going to be another slasher there!

When I saw that you liked Velvet Goldmine, Good Omens, Hamlet/Horatio, and Oscar Wilde also, I decided we really should be friends. I'm not sure how you feel about schoolmates reading your LJ, though, so I'll hold off until I hear it's okay. :)

Wee, *friends* I have no problem with schoolmates reading my journal, so long as it doesn't get back to family and such. ^^;

UPS is great, and there's actually a handful of slashers and slasher-friendly people just in my year. I actually had a professor who was slash-friendly, as well (shocking, to say the least :P). And last year my roommate and I got a bunch of people together to inflict Velvet Goldmine on as many people as possible. *g*

I look forward to getting to know you! UPS is fun whether your in to the party scene or are more of a comfort-zone/homebody person.

Yeah, from what I've seen, UPS seems like a pretty liberal school. And a slash-friendly professor? That's probably the most awesome thing I've heard in a long time. ^__^

It's good to hear that UPS is versatile with the whole party person/comfort-zone thing. I myself fluctuate between the two states!

not a problem. :) It's not working for me, either. I know they've had issues with the host in the past? might be that.

I'd say keep an eye on lori's journal, as she usually updates when something's going on.
