So we will go no more a-roving

Yesterday we held a memorial Gnostic Mass and celebration for Lauri at Blue Horizon Oasis.  The warmth and energy (and just the sheer number of people there) were amazing.  Thank you to everyone who helped see her off right.

The Mass was very moving. Even more so the opportunity for a communion afterwards [the Mass itself was celebratory, so no communion for congregants] with Lauri's ashes on the altar. It felt like she was getting to be priestess again, one last time.

Wow...thank you, for the picture (I have so few good ones of her) and the poem. Now I'm trying not to start crying in my office.

Do you have that phone number yet? Drop me an email if/when you do, okay?

I am sorry I could not be there for this special send off.
A previous engagement made it quite impossible to be at two places once. However, I thought of you and sent lots of love your way.
See you soon.

Thank you...I knew that whatever day I picked, it would be impossible for some people. We're the busiest people on the planet, after all. Thanks for the good wishes, and I share your hope that we see each other again soon.
