This whole situation is so stressful - because it has totally screwed up my plans with Steve - in that we have no idea what we are going to do; or rather that we have to wait a few months before we decide *sigh*
I was supposed to find out what was going on today, but convienently my boss wasn't there - so I went home, rather than stick around after my shift.. *sigh*

I'm really sorry to hear this...it sounds like you've really been enjoying yourself there, overall; it sucks that something stupid like this might screw that up for you. :-(

Thanks eh. It really does suck because things were going so ridiculously well like a month ago...
I'm going to do my best to not let this spoil my image of Japan though :)

Stay in Japan

I think you should stay in Japan, you love the country and people too much to blame them. Change companies or go independent, but stay in Japan. Don't let an immoral company ruin your experience of Japan. Talk to the Canadian consul, I'm sure they have help available.

I might stay for a bit, but I don't know. There's lots of the world that I want to see too, maybe this is a "sign" or something...
Anyway, I have always kept my Nova experience and my Japan experience pretty separate. *sigh* I just want some information from the company so I can start making some decisions...

I think they will get involved.. but it's hard to say, because ironically this communication company I work for isn't communicating with its employees... *rolls eyes*
