question for people not living in america

Nov 18, 2009 12:09

do other countries have places where you can rent a storage place outside of your home foryour extra junk?
or is it only in america we have so much stuff we can't even fit it all in our houses?

big in australia, too,

i'll be packing my mum's place up soon while we knock it down and redevelop it (v old & sick nondescript building), so i've been researching this a bit. one company charges $5/day for a box that would fit the contents of a two-bedroom house, and brings you the box & takes it away for nix.

AND..they look just like the ones in Chicago...the sheds...outside, blacktopped driveway..with ROWS of those pseudo garage doors in ugly colours (they always seem to be some sickly blue or orange).
