It has come to notice to the INCA jury that some of the nominated fics had some discrepances regarding characterization of the main charas.
Please be aware that if you are submitting a fanfiction containing Fem!Naru or Fem!Itachi (thus the fic won't fall under Yaoi category anymore), the female version of the character must act accordingly to the character's attitude and behaviour taken into consideration that they are a female person.
This does not mean they suddenly spurt random hormones, for example, or act like bitches, if (in canon storyline not AU)they dislike fighting or do not want to be ninja, if itachi suddenly prefers hitting on any random chara instead of training, if naruto ditches ramen to get a new haircut, if itachi goes PMS for no reason, or any behaviour that is not considered character wise, or IC.
This also means that changing the name of one or both Itachi and Naruto, either them female or male, is ok ONLY IF it does not alter their characterization.
I think the rule about the WIP's is kinda un fair considering my favorite ItaNaru fic hasn't been updated in quite some time.
That aside, it pleases me a great deal to see that you guys are making sure that this pairing gets the appreciation it deserves. One thing is certain: you can count on my vote

It pains us all, the juries, as well. I believe this notion is shared with most of us. In fact, one of the stories which I were going to nominate is canceled due to the non-existent update. However, we strive to find and give the best to all ItaNaru fans. Thus, we want to make sure that pleasure comes with a continuous updates.
That aside, it pleases me a great deal to see that you guys are making sure that this pairing gets the appreciation it deserves. One thing is certain: you can count on my vote
