Anyone in Indiana: how bad was all the water to you?

We had a bit of seepage in our basement (everything’s fine, except my comics), though our immediate neighbors have water waist high in their basement, so we got off lucky.

A few of the small towns around us are completely underwater.  A small village, maybe fifteen miles away from our house, had a ( Read more... )

My dorm's hallway became a river one day, but i was able to barricade my room well enough that it didnt' detroy any of my stuff. That being said, the whole damn floor smells like mildew now.

we had no problems with flooding up here at the top of the state. must be because water runs downhill, cause you're all clearly beneath us

In Bloomington, It flooded about 4 ft high on Kirkwood...
and I know that Spencer & Brown County had such high flooding that they didn't let anyone leave their houses yesterday!

Terre Haute is a little flooded, though not as bad as parts of Greenwood or Martinsville. We are okay, though the gym we use at Rose-Hulman is flooded and parts of the neighborhood around us is pretty underwater.

Yeah, my mom and sister are there now for orientation, and they had to keep getting detoured to get there, but once they were in Terre Haute it wasn't so bad.
