shadows seem bleak compared to the things i've seen

i've seen a lot, but not enough to dare compare

to the things i've done.

i'm only eight lines away from a quick over dose

of primal fear, deep into a sleep, you can steer.

please forgive me for forcing my truths down your throat.

if i could plead, i wouldn't plead to god,

i'd plead to my guardian angel to rid me of these bad seeds.

honestly, please give me release, is what i would scream
