Well, Mom and Dad just totally dropped a bomb on me yesterday! What with all the stuff going on in the newspapers and all, they were waffling over letting me go back to Hogwarts

My parents don't know about the stuff in the wizarding world. I've been hiding a lot of it from them--so they think it's a good thing I'm going some place safe like the castle.

But i understand what you mean... I don't think I could go back to my homeschooling knowing this stuff exists now.

Mine usually don't know much of anything unless I tell them. It was really dumb of me to let this slip.

My parents haven't figured out that any of the killings are related to magic. They'd probably act the same way as yours...

Whatever you do, don't let them know about it. I think keeping them in the dark is actually better for them.
