and it seems like this birthday had sucha big hype and now there's nothing exciting about it. Everything I can do I don't have any interest in, and everything I want to do I can't because my parents still run my life. Finally got my first call for the summer for a job as an extra and went to work today. Worked from 10 to 5:30 down in Long Beach for a Juicy Fruit commercial. I can't believe I have six days left of being a minor. I've been waiting for the day I turn 18 for so long and now I don't know what to do with myself. It doesn't actually seem like there was anything worth anticipating. I hope I'm wrong and things change for me.

So so far since school got out I've pretty much been sitting at home doing nothing and occassionally seeing Martin which is all very nice, but it didn't really seem like summer. I'm feeling so hyper for some reason which is quite unusual. I want to go out but I don't know what I would do or with who. I want someone to come entertain me!

The fact that I'm no longer a high school student has finally started to hit me hard. I kind of want to hold on to high school now because I'm realizing that every day that goes by I'm getting older and that scares me. We graduate tonight. This doesn't seem real. I think I'm going to be sick. I've been waiting for today for this whole year and now I want it all to slow down.

So prom was Saturday night. It was fun, but it seemed really short. I feel like all the planning and stressing was for nothing. I had a good time though.
