I am finally over my bout of tonsillitis!  Yay!  No - I didn't have to get them removed (yet), but I did have to get an abscess drained.  Yuck -  I know, but at least I'm sparing you the details of how they had to reach the abscess in my throat (and it wasn't through my mouth).  Unfortunately, the doctor has recommended that I seriously consider

You know, I may have to get them taken out this summer. More on that later.

Getting the tonsils out will likely hurt less than the tonsilitis and you get to eat lots of popcicles. YAY for the 10 lbs, BOO for the abscess and ICK for the visual of draining it.
