I just returned from a week-long trip to Paris. We, my wife and I, had a wonderful time. All the warnings we had about France turned out to be false. Everyone who told me how rude French people are were dead wrong. We've run into fewer rude people here than at home. I've had a wonderful time and wouldn't be coming home except that I'd quickly run out of money and there are a few people at home that depend on me making my way back to Olathe. I definitely plan to return if I ever get the chance

My other blog was unceremoniously cancelled by the xanga-police. Somehow I failed to meet the eligibility requirements. Bah. They canned the blog and didn't even send anything to my email address. What's up with that? If I'd have been a premium subscriber, I bet it wouldn't have happened.

I need to make this blog mine. It is of course, mine, but I need to make it *look* mine. I hope that's easier to do that with xanga. If javascript is evil, then CSS is eviler, IMHO.

Yes, this is my first entry here at LJ. I have a xanga blog but thought I'd check this out. The open-source part attracts me. What will I use this blog for? I don't know. I may eventually migrate from xanga to LJ. That will depend on several things.
