Yes, I realize I'm probably judging this a bit too far for what I've read up to now but I honestly don't think my perception of the Twilight fandom will change much after finishing all three books.
Believe me, you're letting it off lightly! I lost count of how many times I had to put that book down or resist throwing it against a wall when I read it. And I'm kind of impressed that you're going to attempt all three in the series so far. When even the fans of the first book admit that the story goes downhill in the sequels, I knew that it was either bail immediately or inexorably lose the will to live.
It's a great book for bitching, though, isn't it? >:D
Yeah, it was kind of frustrating. I got through the beginning of the first book by just making fun of everything the way you would make fun of a horror movie to avoid getting scared. Hah, it didn't work so well by the end because I just got too frustrated.
I know, it surprises me too that I would attempt all three. For the most part though, I read these books when I'm doing a million other things like waiting for the pages to load on my much too slow internet connection in my room.
