but the nice thing is that you can. the memories will always be with you and you can revisit them all the time. ;] it's those good feelings that will stay with you forever. <3 chin up! because we all have to grow up in body someday, but never really in spirit if we choose to keep some good memories alive. ;]
Lol! I was recently feeling that way about my life back in Colorado. I just recently visited for my college roommate's wedding. It was both fun and sad to see how things have changed in the last 5 years. That area is reminiscent of a very particular time in my life, and no matter what, even if I moved back, that time in my life is just a memory and that place will never be what it once was to me. I still think I might relocate to Colorado when I move back to the states, but not to where I once lived because I'll be disappointed when it doesn't stand up to my memories. I would like to go where I can make new memories. I think that's the goal in life. Appreciate the moment right now because it will never be more than a memory once it has passed and look forward to making new memories. I think when you leave Tokyo, you'll have fond memories of all the things currently driving you nuts. And you'll wish to be back there. Sometimes I think that creating memories is the most important reason to wake up everyday because in the end they're all

Yeah, I think you understand what I'm saying. I thought the same thing. As soon as I leave Tokyo, I'm sure I'll miss it terribly, haha. I guess I just miss writing the most. If I could move to the US, to maybe a writers city like Seattle, and pick up my life as a writer again, I might be happy. Can't be sure, but it's what I feel like I want.
I'm not really dissatisfied with Tokyo. I just feel like my life isn't moving forward as it should be. I guess that's something else though, haha.
