So the past week, or not even a week, has been a bit whirl-windy. Last Thursday I got a call at school asking if I'd like to interview for the CIR position at Kobe City Hall. Of course I would! When is it? Friday

Yea! I'm excited for you! When is the interview? Can you practice by watching some DVDs or an English language TV/News show and translating it to a Japanese friend?

The interview was last Tuesday. Luckily it was from Japanese to English. Still nerve-wracking but not as much as into Japanese would be.

Unfortunately, though, I didn't get the job. It went to a girl whose mother is Japanese and whose boyfriend speaks no English and who's been here longer, so it was no surprise really. Next year is her last year here though, so it'll be open again :D
