I'm finding I like Mexican food a lot more than I used to. Probably because it turns out there actually are things that don't get their flavor solely from cheese.

I love food.

What should a person do when her closest friends are either hundreds/thousands of miles away or chronically reluctant to hang out for anything longer than a half hour. 

I have to write a fundraising letter for tomorrow for my writing class. I have no desire whatsoever to do this. I've chosen to make it a thank you letter after a donation, so luckily I won't have to actually ask for money and such, but still, it is ridiculously not enjoyable.

Bitterness has mostly been alleviated. Friends and strangers alike assured me that friends are still important when you're dating someone.
